Thiruvananthapuram: Southern Railway on Monday announced 16 special trains for pilgrims travelling to Sabarimala for the Mandala-Makaravilakku festival season, which begins on November 17.
The trains will be operational from November 14 to January 24, 2026 from Kakinada, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Charlapalli, Machilipatnam, Narasapur, Chennai Egmore, Dr MGR Chennai Central to Kollam and Kottayam, a press release said.
Reservations for these trains will open on Tuesday.
