Roman's 'sparkly' red top perfect wearing with jeans or trousers at Christmas parties

'Tis the season for sprinkling a bit of sparkle into outfits. A top from Roman is oozing festive vibes with shoppers saying it's perfect for 'dressy occasions'.

The Red Sparkle Cowl Neck Tie Side Top is priced at £32, and comes in sizes 10 through to 22. It's also available in teal, with that particular colour discounted to £25.

This top gives a subtle nod to eveningwear. It is crafted from a glitter-textured fabric, and features a soft cowl neckline and a tie detail at the side that draws in the silhouette for a flattering shape. It has short sleeves and a slightly relaxed body fit, so it's less formal cocktail wear, and more glitz on a night-out.

This top is available in sizes six through to 20, and is a party piece with its keyhole cut out at the front and glittery fabric elevating any outfit it's paired with.

Something else that will make a statement whether paired with jeans or smart trousers, is the M&S Sequin Peplum Fitted Top for £36. The sequinned embellishment elevates it and it has cap sleeves and a square neckline, in addition to the peplum frill, creating a feminine, elegant silhouette.

The red top from Roman has won over customers though, with one person saying: "Great top to wear with jeans and on dressy occasions." One shopper had praise for the colour: "Lovely colour, material and fit. Feels nice to wear."

Someone who bought the teal top said: "Good fit. Lovely colour. Smooth delivery. Looking forward to wearing it over Christmas."

It is not short of sparkle, as one shopper noted: "Beautiful top lovely colour of red, the glitter does fall of but that's ok a few washes & it will be fine."

It was the same observation by another customer who said: "Love this top. The colour style, and it went so well with the leather look trousers. I felt fabulous. Perfect. The glitter came off every time I moved so I left a trail. Definitely wouldn't stop me buying it again though."
